DCL Adds Flash Memory Duplication Services

FREMONT, CA. - September 27th, 2004 - DCL, www.dclcorp.com, an ISO 9001:2000 certified provider of packaging and distribution services for technology industries has added flash memory duplication services in it's Fremont, California facility. CEO Norman Tu stated "With our extensive roots in media duplication, it was a natural for us to add this capability to meet this growing media segment". DCL's has continued expansion of customers over the last year, like Lexar Media a Fremont, CA firm involved with flash memory and USB drives.

Speed to market and the rapid nature of newly developed content, necessitate domestic duplication of flash memory to insure fresh, adequate supplies of product to the marketplace.

The new DCL flash memory duplication center utilizes International Microsystems, Inc. equipment which can duplicate Multi-Media Cards (MMC) in 32 Mb, 64 Mb, 128 Mb capacities. DCL can also support duplication of Secure Digital (SD) in 32 MB, 64 MB, 128 MB, 256 MB, 512 MB, and 1 GB capacities and Memory Stick (MS) - including Sony format.

Markets served by flash memory devices include Software Applications Publishers, Wireless Telco Equipment Manufacturers, Wireless Service Providers, PDA Equipment Manufacturers and Flash Memory Manufacturers.

The market is demanding easy to use, high capacity portable media and DCL's aim was to create an advanced resource to these advancing technologies, especially considering it's location in the heart of Silicon Valley. Tu added, "The flash media duplication center is another element of the fully supported supply chain solution DCL provides for the packaging and distribution of our clients intellectual property". DCL recently announced the addition of substantial clamshell packaging capacity to handle the preferred packaging needs of flash memory in its Fremont and Ontario, CA facilities.
