SAN FRANCISCO , CA. - On March 28, DCL was bestowed with the honor of the “Supplier of the Year Class IV” award at the NCSDC 2008 Gala. This event was hosted by the Northern California Supplier Development Council. The NCSDC is a network of 39 councils whose goal is to bring together thousands of minority-owned businesses across the country and promote diversity in the marketplace. The NCSDC main mission is to increase procurement and business opportunities for all minority-owned businesses and help nurture relationships between private and public enterprises. Co-founders, Norman and David Tu attended the event held at the luxurious Westin St. Francis Hotel in San Francisco. Aside with DCL at this event were the executives of such companies as Pacific Gas & Electric Company and Kaiser Permanente, along with many others there to recognize varying businesses for their outstanding performances in their respective industries.
