DCL Acquires 150,000 Square Foot Facility in Ontario

FREMONT, CA. - DCL is proud to announce that we have recently acquired a 150,000 square foot facility in Ontario, California, just minutes from our two current facilities. With the leases of the two facilities coming to an end, DCL management was looking to stabilize their future with a permanent move.

“The timing was perfect. Our leases were ending and we were looking to consolidate under one roof. The only impact this will have on our customer will be a positive one – they will have the added benefit of a state-of-the-art facility equipped with the newest technology and added capacity for production, fulfillment and warehousing.  The facility will be solar equipped to be green friendly.  The purchase of the warehouse renews our commitment to our customers that despite the recession that we see a bright future in the horizon,” stated Norman Tu, Chairman and CEO of DCL.

DCL looked at other areas in the Southern California region, but ultimately decided on staying in Ontario. Its close proximity to both inbound and outbound distribution nodes, the Port of Long Beach and major carrier hubs, made the decision to permanently settle down in the city of Ontario an easy one.

The current plan is to have all business and operations up and running at the new facility by August 1, 2009. Customers are assured that DCL will have a detailed transition plan in place and that the move over to the new facility will be done efficiently.
