DCL’s Oracle powered system can integrate easily with different ERP systems (SAP, JD Edwards, Netsuite, among many others) and different sources (call centers, webstores, etc). Data can be imported and exported to and from our internal systems with our customers’ systems using XML and CSV batch files. This avoids unnecessary data entry while maintaining high levels of data integrity.
We share the following data files based on pre-determined times with our customers:
DCL to Company:
- Order Acknowledgement
- Shipment Confirmation
- Backlog Orders
- Cancelled Orders
- Inventory Status
- Return Receipts
- Custom reports depending on customer unique requirements
In addition to exporting these batch files to our customers, we can create custom email reports to our customers based on their specific information needs. These email reports include fulfillment overviews, backorder and P.O. reports, receipt of goods acknowledgements, as well as custom email reports dependent on customer requirements.
As an alternative to integrating two different systems through batch files, DCL can interface directly into a customer’s ERP systems providing virtual support of product activities from our facilities. Although we do not recommend this method of integration, some customers elect this method in order to support multiple suppliers on one system and to reduce processing times associated synching two disparate ERP systems.
Bottom line is that our IT systems are both robust and flexible to allow our customers to work in the way that they want to work.
