Quality Products and Services

DCL has always been known in the industry for producing quality product and service. In fact, our quarter-century old philosophy of “Each a Perfect Original” is our mantra to do this day. Having our original roots in the competitive software turnkey industry, DCL has always differentiated itself through quality by providing customers with documented operating procedures, quality measurements and a zero defect policy.

At DCL, we don’t just say we are “quality focused”, we are certified to prove it. We have been ISO certified 9001:2000 since 1995. In addition, due to the Sarbanes-Oxley act and the fact that as a supplier we may materially impact many of our clients, we are required to pass the requirements of SAS70. We undergo two audits annually and for the past three years, we received “no exceptions” from the outside auditors, Grant Thornton. Opinion letters from the auditors are available upon request.

DCL always strives to meet a zero defect policy in our KPI measurements, which include on-time shipment accuracy, cycle counting, manufacturing defects, and distribution accuracy.

Operationally, we continue to strive for error reduction through eliminating manual processing and human intervention. Some of our unique innovations for operational quality improvement include in-line weigh scales, pictorial assembly instructions, real-time web information systems, and 100% byte count inspection for our software customers.
