Leadership Team

Norman Tu
Chairman and CEO

Norman is active in business development, marketing and finance activities at DCL. Since 1982, Norman has focused on strategically positioning DCL as the market leader for outsourced supply chain solutions. His vision resulted in the creation of eFactory, the industry's first on-line, web-based reporting tool. Prior to co-founding DCL in 1982, Norman was a systems analyst and technical manager at Hewlett Packard for nine years. He was a field systems engineer at Xerox Data Systems from 1969 to 1973. Norman received a BS in Computer Science from Chico State University.

David Tu
President

David, a co-founder of DCL, directs DCL's operations and business planning systems. He is instrumental in transforming DCL into a supply chain management service that uses cutting edge technology to support manufacturing operations and customer needs. He initiated ISO procedures, earning DCL's first ISO 9002 certification in 1984 and DCL's recent ISO 9000:2001 recertification. David served as an operations consultant to DCL prior to joining DCL full-time in 1988. Previously, David was Vice President for the Shorenstein Company from 1983 to 1988. David holds BS and Master in Engineering degrees in civil engineering from the University of California Davis and an MBA degree from Golden Gate University.

Bill Jacobson
Director of Major Accounts

Bill is responsible for New Business Development and the management of Major Accounts. Bill joined DCL in July 1994 as a consultant and also served as President for 3 years. Prior to DCL, Bill was a developer and founder of the Decathlon Club, one of the largest private athletic clubs in the country. Bill brings over 30 years of management consulting experience to DCL. He was Director of Systems Marketing at Four-Phase Systems from 1969 to 1978. Bill graduated from the University of Washington with a BS in Mathematics.

Shahid Masood
Vice President, IT and e-Commerce

Shahid applies more than 20 years of diverse experience in computers, control systems, manufacturing, retail and distribution towards developing systems and processes using state-of-the-art technologies that meet the needs of our clients and organization. Shahid joined DCL in 1995. Prior to joining the Company he held positions with Honeywell, Lear Siegler, Valmet Automation, Sentrol Systems, Compucenter and Access Business Systems. Shahid received his BS in Electrical Engineering from California Polytechnic University and an MBA from York University.

Scott Daub
Director of Planning

Scott joined DCL in 2002 and is responsible for customer service and procurement activities in DCL's Fremont facilities. Prior to joining DCL, Scott spent 12 years with Symantec in various operation management capacities. Scott obtained a BS in Commerce from Santa Clara University.

Larry Shaker
Vice President of Operations

Larry is responsible for the manufacturing and business operations at DCL. Larry joined DCL in 1997 as an Operations Manager for the Southern California facility. Prior to joining DCL, Larry had over 25 years in manufacturing, including 18 years with Owens Illinois in various manufacturing management capacities. Larry obtained a BA in Business Administration from California State University at Fullerton.

Mary Kung
Director of Strategic Accounts

Mary joined DCL in 1985 and is currently responsible for all manufacturing and distribution requirements for DCL's largest customers. Prior to joining DCL, Mary was a manager for Read & Emerick, a multi-national trading company in New York. Mary graduated from Hong Kong Baptist College with a BA in Business Administration.

Dave Tu
Director of Business Development

Dave Tu has recently re-joined DCL as the Director of Business Development. His main focus is developing strategies that will enable DCL to add value to their supply chain solution in the form of new synergistic services, strategic partnerships and acquisition opportunities. Dave recently graduated with his MBA from London Business School with a concentration in entrepreneurial management. Prior to business school, Dave was at DCL where he focused on business development activities in the medical device and consumer electronics industries. Previously, Dave spent six years in the finance industry in investment banking and asset lending for JPMorgan and Boeing Capital.
